Why This Video Inspires Us
“Walk in My Shoes” offers a powerful reminder that every young person carries a unique story—often unseen and unheard. It challenges us to pause, reflect, and consider the lived experiences behind behaviours we might otherwise judge or overlook.
At Holistic Support, this video encapsulates the heart of our mission: to meet young people where they are, with empathy, patience, and understanding. It inspires us to listen more closely, to support more intentionally, and to create tailored pathways that honour the full context of each child's life..

A Neural Networking Intervention to Strengthen Cognitive, Emotional, and Personal Development
The Perception Enrichment Programme (PEP) is a specialist one-to-one neural networking intervention designed to support young people with challenges in spatial awareness, sensory processing, focus, and emotional regulation. It is particularly effective for students with neurodiverse needs, low confidence, and difficulties with cognitive organisation or body awareness.
PEP works by stimulating brain-body integration through targeted movement, sequencing, and awareness exercises—building the foundations for learning, behaviour, and wellbeing.
Delivered by Skilled Practitioners
Sessions are led by trained professionals with experience in youth development, coaching, and neurological integration techniques. The programme is tailored to the specific developmental needs of each student, ensuring it is both supportive and empowering.
Core Focus Areas
Spatial and Body Awareness
Enhancing proprioception and physical confidence through guided movement and coordination activities.
Processing and Regulation
Strengthening cognitive pathways related to focus, sequencing, and emotional response.
Confidence and Self-Belief
Helping young people feel more in control of their thoughts, actions, and environment.
Neural Patterning
Activities are designed to improve the way the brain processes information—supporting readiness to learn, improved memory, and attention.
How It Works
One-to-One Weekly Sessions
Typically delivered over 6 to 12 weeks, with clear baseline assessments and tracked progress.
Flexible and Bespoke Delivery
Sessions can take place in school or at home, and are adapted to meet sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs.
Collaborative Support
We work closely with schools, SENCOs, and families to ensure continuity and reinforcement across settings.
Measurable Outcomes
Students who engage with PEP often experience:
Improved sensory and spatial awareness
Better attention and processing skills
Increased physical and emotional confidence
Reduction in classroom anxiety and behavioural overwhelm
